'Red State' trailer

An idependent horror film written and directed by Kevin Smith that is based on the idea of the religious group, Westboro Baptist Church group and their pastor, Fred Phelps. The film stars John Goodman, Michael Parks, Kevin Pollak, Melissa Leo, and Kyle Gallner.

The trailer is more of a teaser, but VERY effective.

From what I've heard about the Westboro Baptist Church group, they need to be exposed as the negative low lives that they are. This film may just do that.

Check it out...

The Pretty Reckless Appreciation

The Pretty Reckless is a Rock band fronted by actress/model/singer, Taylor Momsen. Best known for her role on CW's 'Gossip Girl' as Jenny Humphrey, Momsen always had a love for music. Citing such role models as Nirvana, Oasis, and The Beatles as inspiration, the talented 17 year old formed, The Pretty Reckless. Celebrating their first major label release album, 'Light Me Up', The Pretty Reckless set out on a small venue tour across the United States. I was lucky enough to catch their Pittsburgh show, and I have to say.. It was Awesome. The band and Momsen knew how to create a great ROCK show. I will update tomorrow or so with some pictures from the show but until then... let me give you a few songs to familiarize yourself with this awesome rock band.

'Miss Nothing' Music Video

'Zombie' Acoustic for Mtv

'Make Me Wanna Die' Live on Letterman

My favorite track, 'Just Tonight' acoustic. Amazing.

Very talented alternative rock band, in my opinion.

TeenNick bringing back Childhood Favorites!

Nickelodeon brought about a new block of shows called, 'The 90's are All That'. TeenNick has decided to put shows like 'Rugrats', 'Kenan And Kel', 'Pete & Pete', 'Clarissa Explains It All', and 'The Amanda Show' back on the line-up. The shows will play between midnight to 2 A.M..
This is great news because my inner child begs to re-watch these shows. They were all a major part of my television experience as a child. Though there are many more shows on Nick during the 90's that I would love to watch again, Nickelodeon Senior V.P., Keith Dawkins promises more shows to be added later. He went on to talk about the outpour from fans on the internet about re-airing these and in his statment he reaches out to the people my age by saying,
"At the time, we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10, and 11. It was ground-breaking and for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal time in their lives. Those kids who are now 22, 23 and 24 want to bring that back.”
Wow this is great news and gets me pretty excited. I think it's going to be a great trip down memory lane, and a great experience for the younger generation. So, thank you TeenNick.

Imagine the possibilities: 'SALUTE YOUR SHORTS', 'ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK', 'DOUG', 'CAT/DOG', 'LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE', 'ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE', 'AAAAAAHHHH! REAL MONSTERS', 'THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK', 'THE ANGRY BEAVERS', etc...!!

Are you excited? Which was YOUR favorite?

Warner Bros. to Charlie Sheen, "You're FIRED!"

Warner Brothers announced today they have decided to fire actor, Charlie Sheen from their hit comedy, 'Two and a half Men' after much debate. The statement reads,

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services from ‘Two and a Half Men’ effective immediately."

It is unknown if CBS will continue with a Ninth Season of television's most watched comedy or if they will just terminate the show entirely. I would love to update you on Sheen's rant filled week, but, there is just too much to report. However I will leave you with Sheen's statement after the news of him being fired...

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc— again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”

I can't believe Sheen gave up a $1.2million an episode paycheck.
I wish him the best, but would still love to know what in the world he is thinking!?

What do you think of this news?
And... would you watch 'One and Half Men'?

Demi Lovato thanks her fans

When Disney star, Demi Lovato completed her full stay in Rehab she took the time to make a little video. In the video, Lovato thanks her fans for supporting her through her dark time. The video is short and sweet and very sincere. I look forward to her full recovery and her new beginning because she is one talented star.

Are you looking forward to Lovato's next career move?

'HIMYM' renewed for TWO more seasons!

With 'Two and A Half Men''s fate still in the air, CBS announced today that they have renewed their hit sitcom, 'How I Met Your Mother' for not one, but TWO more seasons. This is great news seeing as it is one of my favorite shows on television. The only bad news that comes with this announcement is that this means we may not even find out who the mother is until 2013!

So how does two more seasons of the wacky gang sound to you?

Lady GaGa The MonsterBall Tour 2/26 Pittsburgh

Yup, even though I have been really busy lately, I still found time to attend the ever-so talented, Lady GaGa's concert in Pittsburgh.

From that first note of her opening number, 'Dance in the Dark', to the encore finale of 'Born this Way', Lady GaGa delivered one hell of a show. Mother Monster sang and danced herself through a two hour set with grace, power, and dignity, furthuring herself into LEGEND-status. The show was as much for the eyes as they were for the ears. This concert was, to say the least, un-like anything I have ever seen before.

I'm proud to call myself a 'Little Monster'.
I look forward to seeing her again in Cleveland, Ohio at the end of April. This time, VIP, baby :)

This concert made me an even bigger fan then I was before!
Mother Monster is amazing talent.
Remember, new album, BORN THIS WAY, in stores May 23, 2011.
New single, BORN THIS WAY, on ITUNES now!

Lil' Kim 'Black Friday' ...

Lil' Kim released her mixtape 'Black Friday' Monday to the public. The title, a pun on Nicki Minaj's debut album 'Pink Friday', is one of the many ways Lil' Kim is voicing her hate towards the hip-hop star. An album cut from Minaj's 'Pink Friday' titled 'Roman's Revenge' was quickly precieved to be a Kim diss. Though Minaj admitted 'Roman's Revenge' to be to all the "HAS-BEEN" female rappers, she never dropped Kim's name. Kim responded in a nasty way by recording 'Black Friday' (which appears on the mixtape), in which she raps...

"Who the fuck want war
fed-ex beef straight 2 ur front door.
It'll be a murder scene,
I'm turning Pink Friday to Friday the 13th.
Aight you Lil’ Kim clone clown,
All this buffoonery shit stops now.
Time for you to lay down, I'm sick of the fraud,
I put hands on this bitch like a spa massage.
We all know your last name's what got you your job,
You's a put together gimmick, somethin’ like a collage.
Since you're putting on a show you gon’ get the applause -
Clap clap with your frame like a fucking garage (Yeaaaah)
This hood shit, you and Drake ain't built for --
This the shit the other bitch almost got killed for."

... Minaj has since kept pretty mute on the situation but with a new song from Kim titled 'Pissin' on 'Em', another diss and rip off Minaj's 'Did it on 'Em', and that super nasty mixtape cover with kim decapitating Minaj. In VERY poor taste.
Minaj should rip this ONCE TALENTED has-BEEN a new one :)

What do you guys think?

'The Adjustment Bureau' Trailer

On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, ambitious politician David Norris (Matt Damon) meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt)-a woman like none he's ever known. But just as he realizes he's falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart. David learns he is up against the agents of Fate itself-the men of The Adjustment Bureau-who will do everything in their considerable power to prevent David and Elise from being together. In the face of overwhelming odds, he must either let her go and accept a predetermined path...or risk everything to defy Fate and be with her.

Pretty sure this movie looks amazing. Can't wait to see it.

'X-Men: First Class' Teaser Trailer

The first official teaser trailer for 'X-Men:First Class' is here. Let me tell you, it blows away all of my expectations. It looks pretty awesome. Decide for yourself below...

The film is set before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were enemies, they were friends, working together with other Mutants, to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which begans the war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men. The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, January Jones, and Lucas Till.

The film is set to be released June 3, 2011.

How does 'X-Men:First Class look to you?

Music Video of the Day

I decided to try something new. Music Video of the Day. Sounds fun, huh?

I'll start with 'Dancing on my Own' by Swedish Electro-Pop star, Robyn.

Her video for 'Dancing on my Own' really captures the image she created when listening to the song. The song became Robyn's first number one hit in Sweden, and peaked at number two in Denmark. It reached number three in the US on the billboard hot dance club chart, and became her fourth UK top ten hit. It also charted in Belgium, Germany, Norway and Scotland. The song is nominated at the 2010 Grammy Awards in the category Best Dance Recording catagory.

The song is taken from Robyn's 'Body Talk' album. Go buy it. It's worth it.

And just for fun... Robyn singing the song acoustic...

Love her?

Christina Aguilera, WE LOVE YOU.

Christina Aguilera, 30, performed 'The Star Spangled Banner' in front of millions on Sunday Night's Super Bowl XLV. The Five-time Grammy Award winner sang the song with that same powerful voice we have all grown to love, however, the legend did make a mior mistake in the song's lyrics. Aguilera replaced, "o'er the ramparts we watched" with "what so proudly we watched." A very minor mistake that the average person would have missed. Minutes after her vocal-house performace, media sources sounded-off with hate over the performance. Focusing entirely on her (again i say, MINOR) flub.
So when did all news reports become negative? Or better yet, so targeted? Why not focus on the fact that she is one of the best vocalist around today? Let's ask Miss Britney Spears to belt out the lyrics in place of Miss Aguilera next time. Better yet, how about Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, or Rihanna for that matter. No one can do it like Christina. Now, I have absolutley NO hate for any of the other performers previsouly mentioned but it's the truth. All of them have their own style and ways of singing/performing and all of them have messed up some lyrics here and there. It happens. They may get paid millions but they are still human.
Christina has such a powerful voice, why not focus on that? Why must everyone be so negative and target Aguilera for something so small, when her voice comes out so large. Yes, it's out National Anthem and yes, she has sang it many times before, but, mistakes happen. Let us all focus on the good and less on the negative. In a nation so eager to put an end to bullying, our main sources of information seems to keep targeting people for minor flaws.
Let's review that national anthem one last time and try to focus on what makes this woman the voice of my generation, and maybe yours as well.

The pop singer said she got lost in the moment -- and lost her place in the song. "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through in the end," she told the Assosciated Press in a statement.

Sound off...

Britney Spears reveals new album title/cover...

Britney Spears' new album title will be 'Femme Fatale'. The 29 year old Pop SuperStar is rumored to drop her 7th studio album March 15th but nothing has been confirmed.

"This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all!" she tweeted.
So are you excited for Spears' new album? What do you think of the album's cover/title?
