SUPERMAN found!
Henry Cavill, 27, from Showtimes' 'The Tudors' as been cast in the legendary role of superhero, Superman. The film, which is scheduled for release in December 2012, will take the darker, psychological route just as 'Batman Begins' did back in 2005.
Director Zack Snyder annouced this morning, “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen,” Snyder says in the release. “I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”
Sounds excititng. I like that they are going the same route 'Batman Begins' did. Hopefully this will make us all forget the crap that was 'Superman Returns'.
What do you think? Good Choice?
